The InCycle® cup was born from our desire to reduce the amount of plastic waste that enters our landfills. Yes, it is a simple cup, but it represents an engineering tour de force. The InCycle cup not only begins with recycled material, it uses less plastic and can be put back in the recycling bin, where it can begin its life anew.
Recycling plastic just makes sense… it uses less energy than creating new materials, and if we all participate it will have a huge impact on the world we leave to our children. This is our vision of how we can transform a lasting problem into a lasting resource.
This cup is our solution:

The team at MicroGREEN shares a variety of backgrounds and interests; we are artists, engineers, sailors, fitness enthusiasts, backpackers & travelers. We are sons, daughters, siblings, parents and grandparents. And like you, we share a common concern about the health of our planet; for our children, for their children – for future generations.
That’s why we came up with the InCycle cup. Using our technology, MicroGREEN produces this and other products that use less plastic, use recycled PET (aka water bottles) and are recyclable at their end of life.
How?
We begin with our patented Ad-air® technology which expands the plastic with billions of microbubbles to create a new, unique material with a solid surface that is lightweight and smooth to the touch and yet still strong.
This is clean technology that doesn’t pollute the environment. We expand the plastic mechanically, not chemically, so the PET is unaltered and can be recycled at the end of its life. Moreover, our technology allows us to engineer the size and placement of the microbubbles in order to create superior products that meet our customers’ needs. We realize that our “Smart Plastic” is just a step in the right direction; it takes all of us thinking and acting with the end in mind to create the shift we need to live sustainably.
